We want our leagues to be as enjoyable as possible for all teams who participate in them. In an ideal world players would not get 'sin-binned' or 'sent-off', however that is simply part and parcel of the game of football. We will not tolerate any type of violent or threatening behaviour directed at our Officials or at other players playing in our community leagues. We want you to enjoy playing in our leagues and of course to do your best to win....but also to be sporting and gracious in defeat.The following RED CARD offences are in force:

DISMISSAL (Fine £5.00) POSSIBLE EXCLUSION FOR 1 WEEK
examples: dangerous play / persistent infringements / foul and abusive language.
SERIOUS DISMISSAL (Fine £10.00) MINIMUM EXCLUSION FOR 2 WEEKS, POSSIBLE PERMANENT EXCLUSION
examples: foul and abusive language aimed at official / violent conduct / serious foul play. |
Any fines incurred must be paid before the player in question can play another match. If a player does not pay a fine and plays in another match, his team will be deducted 2 points.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE TEAM CAPTAIN TO ENSURE THEIR PLAYERS ARE UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES. IF A PLAYER COMMITS ONE OF THE SERIOUS OFFENCES LISTED ABOVE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EXCLUDE THE TEAM FROM ANY COMPETITION.
Our leagues are affiliated to either the Football Association or the Scottish Amateur Football Association. |
Appeals Procedure
If you are given a red card / dismissed, you may appeal against the decision if you feel that you were unfairly dismissed. You may only appeal appeal via email (disciplinary@fivez.net) or in writing, you cannot appeal by simply calling us to discuss the fine/ban. After receiving an appeal, we will contact the official concerned and will make a decision within 48 hours. Please be aware that any decision is final and cannot be contested.
